The Best Solution: Use a home email addy such as yahoo or hotmail or gmail and download from home! Then save to a flash drive and take to school. (3) If you don't get a response of any kind from me, I will, in fact, have emailed you several times! You just are not receiving them! This has happened several times lately because of aggressive email filters of grade school, high school and college emails. The Best Solution: Please call me on the phone if this happens! In the summers, I teach a 6 week Earth Science course for the students who failed the year, or failed the state exam, and I use your work exclusively prior to the intensive review. "Just wanted to drop another THANK YOU, Aunt Marcia. I have most enjoyed the Power Points. I made minor adjustments to the PPT so that students get a chance to guess what's coming next. [Great Idea!] They are such a big help! I'm not sure how else to get the kids into some of these ideas without these wonderful visual examples. The cutting and pasting is going well also. At first a couple kids would mumble, "Not cutting again!" But now I limit the time they have to use their scissors (5 min) and then I take the scissors back and launch into the lesson. [Another great idea!] Your observation about the cut and paste worksheets being so much better than their own notes is 150% correct! Now when I get to review and additional sheets I just tell them to find the worksheet and away they go (at least, the ones who haven't lost it). Anyway, we're hopefully going on the weathering walk tomorrow (weather permitting)." | ||||
